Yes. Arizona authorized Remote Online Notarization with HB 2569, effective July 1, 2020. The relevant statute is A.R.S. §§41-371 to 41-380. A document notarized online by a Arizona-commissioned online notary has the same legal effect as an in-person notarization.
Do I need to be physically located in Arizona?
No — you do not need to be in Arizona. The notary must be physically located in Arizona at the time of the act, but you (the signer) can be anywhere in the world. This is a defining feature of §41-373.
What kind of ID do I need?
