Closed on our Cheyenne home from the hospital. The title company sent the docs over and 12 minutes later we had a sealed Warranty Deed in their inbox. Cannot imagine doing this any other way.

Run a small LLC out of Casper and used to drive far for notary work. Did three corporate resolutions last Sunday at midnight. The notary knew Wyoming formation docs cold.

Needed a Statutory Durable POA for my mom in Laramie while I'm stationed overseas. We connected on video, walked through it page by page. Patient and kind notary.

Frequently asked

Wyomingites have asked these questions

The answers below are specific to Wyoming law. If your situation is more complex, contact us — we're here to help.

Is online notarization actually legal in Wyoming?
Yes. Wyoming authorized Remote Online Notarization with SF 29, effective July 1, 2021. The relevant statute is §§32-3-101 to 32-3-130. A document notarized online by a Wyoming-commissioned online notary has the same legal effect as an in-person notarization.
Do I need to be physically located in Wyoming?
No — you do not need to be in Wyoming. The notary must be physically located in Wyoming at the time of the act, but you (the signer) can be anywhere in the world. This is a defining feature of §32-3-111.
What kind of ID do I need?
A current government-issued photo ID: Wyoming driver's license or state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID. The statute requires "satisfactory evidence" of identity; we meet this through credential analysis (ID scan) plus knowledge-based authentication (KBA) pulled from public records.
Are there documents that cannot be notarized online in Wyoming?
Most Wyoming documents can be notarized online. A few narrow exceptions apply — testamentary documents follow specific Wyoming procedures, and some federal immigration forms (e.g., I-9 employment verification when performed by the employer's agent) require specific procedures.
How much does a notarization cost?
$5 per notarial act. The Wyoming maximum statutory fee for an online notarization is $5 per signature (§32-3-110). Our price matches the statutory max — never higher — with no subscription, no "platform fee," and no per-seal upcharge.
Do you offer pricing discounts for multiple documents?
Yes. The state caps the per-act fee, but our platform supports notarizing multiple documents in a single session, and we offer volume and business pricing. See the full fee schedule for details.
Will a Wyoming county recorder accept an online notarization?
Yes. A notarization by a Wyoming-commissioned online notary is recorded in their state-registered electronic journal and carries the notary's state-issued electronic seal and certificate. Wyoming county recorders are required to accept it for recording the same as an in-person notarization.
