Remote Online Notarization services are legal as of January, 2020. This is due to Senate Bill 114, which was expedited in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Kentucky notaries are required to have a $1000 surety bond, register with the Kentucky Secretary of State and of course have their traditional Notary commission.
