Under Executive Order by former Gov. Cuomo, I became the first Remote Notary in New York State, where we were authorized to do Remote Ink Notarizations (RIN). When Electronic Notarization (RON) became legal on 1 Feb 2023, and my application was approved by NYS Dept of State on 2 Feb 2023, I became one of the first notaries public in New York to be approved to do electronic notarization.
