On April 21, 2022, the governor signed Legislative Document 2023, permanently authorizing notaries public commissioned in the state to remotely notarize electronic documents as of July 1, 2023.
In the interim, please refer to the Act To Continue Temporary Modification of Certain In-person Notarization and Acknowledgement Requirements.
