  6. When your application has been processed, your commission, oath, index card and other information will be mailed to you.
  7. Sign and take your oath of office in the presence of two individuals who are either Notaries Public or Justices of Peace. Those who sign your oath must also sign your commission.
  8. Return the oath to the Secretary’s office in a timely manner.
  9. Obtain your commission and keep it for your records. You are required to sign the index card ansd mail it to your county’s Superior Court.
  10. Buy your Notarial Seal and Journal
